New decals! :) The silver and blue match the van perfectly.
Hooked up to city water for the first time and used the gas can as a grey water tank.
Camped at a really cool lake with a 5 mile bike path around it. That's my boy in yellow hanging out with every boy in camp.
My youngest proving we had a good time by sleeping a good part of the way home!
Yep, my first ever flat tire, while towing a trailer. :) The donut got us home fine
My daughter pitching in helping unhook the trailer.

Camping trip #2
We had a great time. We slept great. The new king sized bed was worth all time, effort and expense! :) The weather was great.
We noticed more slipping on the back left when it's being raised and it seemed to not go up high enough without effort.
I'll take apart the gear boxes next to see what's going on in there. We are planning a big long trip next summer and I want everything to be ready to go, so it won't break while we're gone. :)

New cabinet and king sized bed
We finished the new cabinet.
I couldn't do this by myself, so I called in the big guns. It's an easy two person job.
It's amazing how much stronger my husband is than me.
Anyhow, this is the progression of building it:

Shelves in:
Cushions on: It will have a 3 inch topper on there too! :) Yay for more room!
I'm too spoiled for a double bed!
Look at all that usable storage!
The bin "drawers" I bought fit just right!
Now I have to fill, sand and paint it. But camping first, this weekend 4 days! :)
Old water tank removal
I had a few minutes extra today. This huge broken water tank took up all the exterior storage. I took apart the galley to get it out.
New view of outside area!

I ripped out the bench seats
I want a larger very comfy bed, so I ripped out the old bench seats.
That's what's left of the boxes. I love demolition!I decided to open up the end and rewire the lights. It's a good thing I did because the wire wasn't working. I was also able to run the new green wire inside the trailer along the driver's side with the other wires.
Now it's back:
My plans to build a storage area that will be level with the tall box that's left. That will enable us to add 24 inches to the bed making it a king.
Those storage bins will act as drawers. 3 large on the bottom and 3 small on the top! I think it's much better use of space and it will make a much cozier bed.
Since I was able to fix the lights and I really want to sleep well, I splurged on this king size 3 inch mattress topper!!! It can store while we drive.

New parking.
We lost our apricot tree in a wind storm, so there's an additional parking area. I built a 10' retaining wall and back filled to level it.
I didn't take a picture of it finished, but it's filled and level now.
New lights and wires complete
I didn't want to mess with the old fixtures, so I got new ones. They are from etrailer, 4.5x8.5" and they were about $5. I drilled hole to put them on the old plate.
I had to run a new green wire to get the right side lights to work. I just taped on on the bottom of the old bundle.
I'm still waiting for a 4 splice connection to make it permanent and then I'll seal it up. :)
