I talked to a buddy today at church and he told me an estimate on painting if I did the prep work.
I'm going to pass on that.
Obviously I'm not going for showroom, just making it our home away from home.
After reading about $50 paint job this morning, I was sold. I happened to be in a bigger city today and picked up some supplies.
The paint was on sale today for $6.98. I got 2 quarts just in case. I chose "gloss canvas white" to match the plastic on the roof and sides to give it a more cohesive look.
The foam brushes came to a total of $2.20.
I already have the roller and mineral spirits.
I will have to buy the wet sanding blocks, bondo, primer and tack cloth later.
This isn't going to happen until I repair the window, cracks and vent= a while! ;)
The painting prep is what will bring success to this project,
so I'll have lots of naptimes spent on prep!
I got the chip brushes to put on the goo tomorrow.
I got these gloves to work in I hope they don't melt!
