Day 3- considering window cracks and paint colors

I've wrapped up all the scrubbing, scraping and washing.

i have it set up on a slanted driveway so I can see right though it.  Kind of a cool view.

I can't work on it again until June 30... sad.

We hope to go out July 3-5th weekend.
I will bring tarps and use the airmattress in the front bed end until I get that repaired properly

Day 2 Cleaning

I took out everything and vacuumed.  I removed cushion covers and scrubbed and washed them.  They are hanging to dry.

I started the job of scrubbing and scraping the years of dirt from the trailer.
all cushions, vents covers, stuff out

I removed that fachia board under the window.  Water seems to be seeping thorough there.

1978 Apache Royal

I have been wanting an Apache camper for a year.  I had been casually looking on Craigslist and saw this one in Lincoln.

We drove down and found that the front bed was wet, but I was so excited to try it out that my husband said he'd go along with my craziness.  I bargained and got it for $650.

We fearfully towed it away with no lights and went straight to Walmart.  Peter worked and worked on the wires while I took the kids to Pet Smart.

We ended up leaving like this:

We got home safetly 3.5 hours later, thankfully!
